Baker Beach Flow
Today I didn't see a cloud in the sky all day. But just before sunset I took a look out and noticed some coming in over the horizon. So I decided to walk down the hill to Baker Beach to see if the color would pop, unlike last night.
The Evening Flow
Took this back in February on Baker Beach. While walking to the end of this beach, I knew I was going to want something to comp into the foreground. Further up on shore there is always lots of driftwood and branches that get pushed up on shore, so I went looked around for the best one. As I like to say, if the scene isn't there make it yourself! So I dragged this down the beach and set it up. The swells will move it around so you have to be quick getting it while its not moving. It's amazing how much this branch did for this shot.

Fort Funston Posts
About a month ago +Amy Heiden +Joe Azure +Jameson Savage and I headed down to Fort Funston to chase some sunset light and grab some long exposures of these posts.
Fort Funston Sunset
Tonight Jameson Savage and I met up with Joe Azure and Amy Heiden at Fort Funston, to shoot these awesome post that still exist. This is a spot which has been on my bucket list for a while now. So it was great getting some new scenery. There were no clouds as we were driving in, but we got lucky right sunset time.

Marshall Beach Twig
I know, another sunset shot, sorry!!!
I almost didn't go out last night. I got home from work and all I wanted to do is sit on the couch and relax, but I knew the clouds had some serious potential. And since I moved into my new place, which is a few hundred yards from this location, I haven't been to Marshall Beach since my first visit last year. It is one of my favorite locations, and it didn't let me me down at all last night. The sunset blew up and lastest for a while too, giving photographers plenty of time to get all the angles!

Rodeo Beach Long Exposure
Tonight I met up with my buddy +Jameson Savage, to shoot at Rodeo Beach. I haven't been here since last January and my photography has come a long way since then. We were hoping for more of a sunset as the clouds early were screaming awesomeness but not too much color. The clouds made for some great Long Exposure shooting though. Here is one of many shots from tonight.

Point Bonita Sunset
Tonight I headed back to Point Bonita with plans to shoot around the lighthouse, which ended up being closed. At that point I wasn't to happy with my location, but knew I could make find something to make work. I hiked back around and up the backside. Here is a 3 shot HDR from the top of these 100+ feet cliffs.
